In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Clinton Byars; son, Craig Edward Byars; sister, Carol McGinnis; and brother, Larry Jones.

Mrs. Byars is survived by her daughters, Sherrie Byars Warren (Johnny), and Julie Byars Folsom (Frankie); son, Jason Byars (Heidi); grandchildren: Rachel Warren (John), Jacob Warren, Joshua Warren (Estella), Cody Folsom (Cody), Carly Folsom, Gabrielle Byars, Zayne Byars, and Haydee Byars; great-grandchildren: Aleigha, Silas, Olivia, Jameson, Gemma, Lazer, Josiah, Titus, Wyatt, and Waylon; brothers, Edward Jones (Brenda), and Garry Jones (Cindy); sisters, Linda Swanson (Muscles), and Kathy Edwards; and several nieces and nephews.
