Linda Gail Brown

Linda Gail Brown, age 77, of Acworth, GA, formerly of Rockmart, GA, passed away Tuesday evening, July 1, 2025.

Linda was born in Rockmart, GA, on September 22, 1947, daughter of the late Edward Brown and Willowdean Dentmon Brown. She had lived the greater part of her life in Polk County and was a member of Lakeview Baptist Church. Linda had retired from Angelica Health Care Linens and enjoyed going to church and reading her bible. She loved the outdoors and spending time in her yard, watching and adored her time with family and grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Linda was preceded in death by a daughter, Crystal Lynn Leatherwood, a grandson, Mason Pennington, and a sister, Rhonda Chupp.

Linda is survived by two daughters, Angie Leatherwood and Donna (Craig) White; four grandchildren, Erica Loyd, Kelsey Pennington, Tyler (Taylor) Brown, and Cole (Courtney) Shelton; brother, Mike Brown; two sisters, Barbara Goss and Teresa Owens. Fourteen great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews also survive.

Memorial services for Linda will be held Sunday, July 13, 2025 at 2:00 pm in the chapel of Alvis Miller & Son Funeral Home.
