Linda Tillery Fuqua

Mrs. Linda Tillery Fuqua, age 74, of Rockmart, GA passed away Saturday, September 6, 2025.

Linda was born on January 9, 1951, in Rome, Georgia, the beloved daughter of Evelyn Thompson Tillery and the late James Irvin Tillery. A lifelong resident of Rockmart, Linda embraced her community with warmth and enthusiasm. She was a former member of Aragon United Methodist Church and a proud member of the Floyd County Red Hats.

Linda had a passion for civic engagement and found great joy in volunteering at the voter polls. She was a spirited traveler who loved exploring Europe, a talented cook who found comfort in the kitchen, and was an avid reader. Known for her vibrant personality and signature lipstick, Linda brought color and joy wherever she went.

In addition to her father, Mrs. Fuqua is preceded in death by her husband, James Fuqua; brothers, Ricky Tillery and Randy Tillery; and sister, Kathy Blolock.

Linda is survived by her mother, Evelyn Tillery; daughters, Natasha (Ryan) Fields and Deidra Fuqua; five grandchildren, Haley Thompson, Shelby Waits, Drew Waits, Tori Roberts, and Sydney Roberts; sisters, Gloria (Roger) Seabolt and Beverly (Jimmy) Hughes; brother, Larry (Laurise) Tillery; and several nieces and nephews.

In keeping with her wishes, Mrs. Fuqua will be cremated, and no formal services will be held at this time.
