Linda Ann Anderson White

Mrs. Linda Ann Anderson White passed away on August 14, 2025, at the age of 75.

Linda was born on January 7, 1950, in Rome, GA, a daughter of the late Rev. Charles E. Anderson and the late Mary Lue Jones Anderson. Linda spent the greater part of her life in Rockmart, where she became a beloved member of her community. Linda dedicated her professional life to North West Regional Hospital for over twenty years, where her hard work and caring spirit touched the lives of many. Above all, she was a devoted mother, grandmother, and friend, who cherished her family and the moments spent together. She was a member of New Prospect Baptist Church and had a great love for singing.

In addition to her parents, Linda was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest Albert White; daughter, Kristy Charlene Ferguson; and son-in-law, Dennis James Moncrief.

Survivors include her son, Todd (Colleen) White; daughter, Tina Moncrief; grandchildren, Brett (Bonnie) Johnson, Amber (Bo) Hopkins, T.J. (Amber) White; Josh (Mandy) Stroup; Evan (Krista) Johnson, Keisha McCormick, Kevin (Amanda) Stroup; Cortney (Jeremy) Waits; Paul (Heather) Hughes; twenty eight great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; three brothers, Charles Anderson, Jimmy Anderson, and David Anderson, Sr.; two sisters, Diane Tuschl, and Mary Jean Johnson. 

A funeral service for Mrs. White will be held on Sunday, August 17, 2025, at 4:00 PM in the chapel of Alvis Miller & Son Funeral Home with Rev. Buddy Carter and Rev. Jeff Hulsey officiating. Mrs. White will be cremated following the service.

The family will receive friends on Sunday afternoon from 2:00 pm until the funeral hour at the funeral home.

Honorary pallbearers will include Brett Johnson, Evan Johnson, T.J. White, Josh Stroup, Kevin Stroup, and Paul Hughes.
