Mrs. Loye Cagle Statham, age 75, of Rockmart, GA, passed away Friday afternoon, October 9, 2026.

Mrs. Statham was born in Rockmart on April 23, 1951, daughter of the late Jack Cagle and Ida Mae Clinton Cagle. She was a lifelong resident of Rockmart and a woman of Baptist faith who cherished her home and family. In her younger years, Mrs. Statham was a cheerleader at Rockmart High School.

She especially enjoyed spending time outdoors, tending to her garden and yard, where she took great pride in making things beautiful. She also loved traveling, particularly taking trips to the mountains and relaxing at the beach. These simple pleasures brought her happiness and created many cherished memories throughout her life. Most of all, she will be remembered for the love she shared with her family and the warmth she brought to those around her.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Statham was preceded in death by a son, Ray Sullivan, Jr., and a sister, Carol Lucas.

Mrs. Statham is survived by her husband of almost 47 years, Phil Statham, whom she married October 31, 1980; two children, Chan Statham (Amber), and Ashley Meeks; five grandchildren, Daetyn Meeks, Jameson Sullivan, Mary Meeks, Eli Statham, and Judah Statham; great-grandson, Dru Meeks; daughter-in-law, Dawn Sullivan; two brothers, Tommy Cagle and Randy Cagle (Lisa). Several nieces and nephews also survive.

In keeping with her wishes, Mrs. Statham will be cremated, and Celebration of Life Services are incomplete at this time.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that memorial donations be made to any local animal shelter in memory of Mrs. Statham.
