Margaret Elizabeth Harper

Mrs. Margaret Elizabeth Harper, age 46, of 38 Mountain View Drive, Rockmart passed away Thursday, October 23, 2008 in a Rome Medical Center.

She was born in Jersey City, NJ on March 12, 1962, a daughter of the late Joseph D. Corkery and Elizabeth Viehler Corkery. Mrs. Harper had been a resident of Rockmart for the past four years moving here from Bartow County. She was a homemaker and was of the Catholic faith. Mrs. Harper was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Harper and by a brother, Joseph Corkery.

Survivors include a son, Michael Corkery and his wife Alda; three grandchildren: Nickolus, Grace and Joseph Corkery all of Rockmart; two sisters, Helen Shevlin and Cathy Jaroz and two brothers, Daniel Corkery and Tommy Corkery also survive.

The family will receive friends Sunday from 2:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

A family memorial will be held at a later date.
