Margit Aviles

Mrs. Margit Aviles, age 82, of Aragon, GA, passed away Thursday evening, November 14, 2024.

Mrs. Aviles was born in Czechoslovakia, on June 11, 1942, daughter of the late Rudolph Egerer and Ernestine Boettinger Egerer. She grew up in Aschaffenburg, Germany and moved to California at the age of 26. Mrs. Aviles had lived in Oklahoma for a period of time where she worked as a welder at Smith-Gruner. She has lived in Georgia since the mid-80s where she worked as a caregiver. Mrs. Aviles loved to make people laugh and had a ton of stories to tell. She was always taking care of others.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Aviles was preceded in death by a son, Kenneth Benjamin Wolfgang Egerer, and two sisters, Ingeborg Langley, and Ingrid Albert.

Mrs. Aviles is survived by sons, Pete Egerer and Rich Aviles, daughter,Angie Silvey.  Several grandchildren, great-grandchildren along with nieces and nephews also survive.

A memorial service will be planned at a later date.
