Mrs. Marilyn Virginia Ray Crawford, age 87, of Rockmart, GA, passed away Tuesday, March 24, 2026, at her residence.

Mrs. Crawford was born in Atlanta, Georgia, on February 27, 1939, the daughter of the late Paul Hugh Ray and Mary Ridling Ray. She had resided in Rockmart for the past 35 years, where she devoted her life to being a loving housewife and homemaker.

Mrs. Crawford enjoyed antiquing, attending yard sales, and collecting cherished items from the past. She was especially fond of watching western television shows and was known as a wonderful cook. Above all, she was a devoted and loving mother who cherished her time with her grandchildren and had a special love for all children.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Crawford was preceded in death by her husband, Jimmy Lee Crawford, sons, Scott Moss, Wayne Moss, and Emmett Buchanan, a grandson, Kaleb Moss, and a step-daughter, Sherry Reed.

Mrs. Crawford is survived by her children, Diana Beth Lynn Page and William Toby Edmonds; step-children, Turrena Moore, Jamey Crawford and Sarah Pugh; sisters, Rose Mary Wiese and Susan Cross; brothers, David Ray, Jonathan Ray, and Claude Ray. Eighteen grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren, along with numerous nieces and nephews also survive.

In keeping with her wishes, Mrs. Crawford will be cremated, and no formal services are planned at this time.
