Marion L. Womack

Mrs. Marion L. Womack, age 75, of Aragon, GA passed away Saturday, March 17, 2012 in a Rome medical center.

A native of Polk County, GA she was born on September 9, 1936. Mrs. Womack and her late husband, B.O. Womack had made their home in Tampa, FL from 1954 until 1964 before returning to Polk County. She was a member of the Aragon Baptist Church and was a retired Industrial Engineer with Greenwood Mills of Lindale. Mrs. Womack was preceded in death by her husband, B.O.Womack on January 16, 2005; by her mother Emily and step father Bob Baldwin and by her brothers: Doyal Wright, Jimmy Baldwin and Robert Earl Baldwin.

Survivors include a daughter, Lisa Wolfe, Aragon; sons: Lamar Robinson, Bowdon and Michael V. Robinson, Rockmart; sister, Nancy Eisenhut, Newnan; brothers: Norman Wright, Aragon, Gerald Wright, Opelika, AL and Gary Baldwin, Aragon; 10 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, March 20, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of the Alvis Miller & Son Funeral Home with Rev. Hoyt Lewis and Rev. Hal Brown officiating. Interment will follow in the Aragon Cemetery.

Pallbearers will include: Ryan Wolfe, Cory Wolfe, Cody Wolfe, Porrey Eisenhut, Austin Thaxton and Brad Jackson.

The family will receive friends Monday evening from 6 until 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
