Mary Jo Baugh

Mrs. Mary Jo Baugh, age 72 , of Rockmart, GA passed away Monday, March 21, 2016 at her residence.

She was born in Rome, GA on April 10, 1943, a daughter of the late Johnny Walters and Edna Adams Walters. Mrs. Baugh had a big heart and loved taking care of others. She loved her family, two daughters Starlene Head and Jacquelyn Holderfield, and her grand and great-grandbabies. Mrs. Baugh lived the greater part of her life in Bartow and Floyd counties, and was a member of Center Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Baugh; three bothers: Gene Walters, Wayne Walters, James Walters; and a sister, Dorothy Ingram.

Survivors include her two daughters, Starlene Head of Rockmart, and Jacquelyn Holderfield of Morgan Hill, CA; one brother, Mr. David Walters of Rockmart; one sister, Ms. Johnnie Sue Mullinax of Cobb County; six grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews.

Memorial services for Mrs. Baugh will be held Friday, March 25, 2016 at 12:00 noon in the chapel of the Alvis Miller & Son Funeral Home.

The family will receive friends Friday, March 25, from 11:00 AM until the memorial hour at Alvis Miller & Son Funeral Home.
