Mary Anne Walk

Mrs. Mary Anne Walk, age 88, of Rockmart, GA, passed away Thursday morning, October 2, 2025, at her residence.

Mrs. Walk was born in Elma, WA, on April 10, 1937, a daughter of the late Charles Matson and Ruth Helen Beckwith Matson. She grew up in Washington and lived most of her adult life in California. Mrs. Walk worked for many years with International Moving Coordination and enjoyed reading and working her in garden.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Walk was preceded in death by a brother, William Matson.

Mrs. Walk is survived by her husband, David Timothy Walk, whom she married in December of 1996; two daughters, Heather Leiter (Matt), and Elizabeth Leiter; sister, Rosalie Stanford. Five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren also survive.

Graveside and interment services for Mrs. Walk will be held on Friday afternoon at 4:00 p.m. in Rose Hill Cemetery with Rev. Jason Odom officiating.
