Obituary

Michael Edward Davenport III, beloved husband, father, son, brother, veteran, and friend, passed away leaving behind a legacy of strength, loyalty, and unwavering love.

Michael was a proud retired member of the United States Army. His time in the Army reflected the very core of who he was courageous, disciplined, and deeply devoted to something greater than himself. He carried that same sense of honor and commitment into every part of his life.

Above all else, Michael was a family man. He was the devoted husband of Shea Davenport, his partner and best friend, and the proud father of Everleigh Davenport and Eden Davenport. His greatest joy came from being their protector, provider, and constant source of support. He worked tirelessly to build a life filled with love, stability, and laughter for his girls. To them, he was not only strong he was steady, safe, and endlessly present.

Michael was known for his loyalty. As a friend, he was dependable and steadfast someone you could call at any hour and know he would show up. As a father and husband, he was dedicated and selfless, always placing the needs of his family above his own. His hardworking spirit and generous heart made him a light to his family and all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Though his passing leaves an immeasurable void, his legacy lives on in the strength of his daughters, the love of his wife, and the countless lives he touched with his kindness and quiet leadership.

Michael will be deeply missed, forever honored, and always remembered.

Michael was preceded in death by his grandfather, Michael Edward Davenport, Sr., and grandmother, Phyllis Morris.

Michael is survived by his loving wife, Shea Davenport, whom he married November 6, 2014; two daughters, Everleigh Davenport and Eden Davenport; mother, Tammy Nordin; father, Michael Davenport, Jr.; two sisters, Stephanie Tressel and Ashley Dunegan; two brothers, Avery Nordin and Hunter Nordin; mother and father-in-law, Melissa and William White; father-in-law, Randall Fuller; sisters-in-law, Shana Mattingly (Jake), Tiphanie Pearson (Joe Mauthe); nieces and nephews, Kaleb, Brayden, Jaylen, Chayten, Abram, Piper, and Lucas.
