Michael Heath Duke, Sr., age 45, of Rome, GA, passed away Sunday, April 12, 2024.
Michael was born in Rome on June 30, 1978, a son of the late Robert Duke, Sr. and Shirley Anne White Duke. He had lived most of his life in Rockmart, GA, and attended Rockmart High School. Michael was a self-employed diesel mechanic who enjoyed motorcycles and fishing.
In addition to his parents, Michael was preceded in death by a brother, Eddy Duke.
Michael is survived by a daughter, Chayla Duke; son, Michael Heath Duke, Jr.; grandchildren, Haizel Ramona Haddock, Eden Grace Duke, and Adelyn Duke on the way; sisters, Donna Edwards, and Melanie Gibbs; brothers, Bobby Duke, and Tommy Duke.
In keeping with his wishes, Michael will be cremated, and memorial services will be planned at a later date.
