Michael Taylor

Mr. Michael Taylor, age 59, of Acworth, GA passed away Wednesday, March 9, 2016 at his residence.

He was born in Copperhill. TN on May 14, 1956 a son of Buddy Sylvestor Taylor and Evelyne Brookshire Taylor. Mr. Taylor had lived the greater part of his life in Acworth, GA and was a member of Crossroads Baptist Church. He loved western movies, fishing and his dogs. He was a huge Georgia Bulldogs fan. Mr. Taylor was a self employed drywall installer.

He was preceded in death by his father Buddy Taylor and a sister, Pamela Ann Taylor.

Survivors include his wife, Tammie Eugena Taylor; two sons: James Michael (Jamie) Taylor, Jr. and William Andrew (Andy) Taylor; granddaughter, Marley Lane Taylor; mother, Evelyne Taylor; brother, Chris Taylor.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, March 15, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of the Alvis Miller & Son Funeral Home with Rev. Billy Swift officiating. Interment will follow in the Epworth First Baptist Church Cemetery in Fannin County, GA.

Pallbearers will include: Chris Taylor, Tony Coley, Shad West, Brent Coley, Mike Hercko and David Ashworth.

The family will receive friends Monday evening from 6 until 8 p.m. at the Alvis Miller & Son Funeral Home.
