Myrtle Ellen Wallace

Mrs. Myrtle Ellen Wallace, age 64, of 1005 County Road 487 Centre, AL passed away Tuesday, October 6, 2009 at her residence following a brief illness.


She was born in Tarpon Springs, FL on June 14, 1945 a daughter of Delbert Holcombe and Lola Cantrell Holcombe. Mrs. Wallace had been a resident of Center, AL for the past nine years where she was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith. She was preceded in death by her parents, by two sons: Slick Cash and Joe Cash and by two brothers and one sister.


Survivors include her husband, Ed Wallace of Centre, AL to whom she was married on November 6, 2005; a son, Daniel Cash, Buchanan; step son, Scottie Wallace and wife Sandy, Cartersville; step daughter, Kristi Sanders and husband Wayne, Aragon; 11 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren and five sisters: S.L. and Mable Dawkins, Rockmart, Lemuel and Debra Evans, Dallas, Dolly Gazaway, Dallas , Maynon and Linda Childers, Aragon and Dan and Brenda Robinson, Aragon.


Memorial services will be held Thursday, October 8, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of the Alvis Miller & Son Funeral Home with Rev. Jamey Hunt officiating.

The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 6 until 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
