Nancy Ann Babb

Mrs. Nancy Ann Babb, age 65, of Cave Spring, GA passed away Wednesday, November 19, 2025.

Nancy was born in Rockmart, GA on August 5, 1960, a daughter of the late James Thomas Duncan and the late Lottie Redden Duncan. Nancy’s life was a beautiful testimony of love, faith, and hospitality. She truly loved people, and her presence was a constant source of comfort. She was always there in times of need. A devoted person of prayer no matter the place, she lived her faith openly and unashamed, touching hearts and impacting many lives with her steadfast spirit. Her family was her greatest joy, and she cherished them deeply. A Southerner to the core, Nancy embodied warmth and generosity, finding delight in cooking and feeding others, and opening her doors with gracious hospitality. To step into her home was to feel welcomed, nourished, and loved-a reflection of the heart she carried every day.

In addition to her parents, Nancy was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Babb; grandson, Tyler Garner; siblings; RC Duncan, JW Duncan, Ludie Duncan Busby, Sudie Duncan Cumbaa, Raymond Duncan, Johnny Duncan, Marvin Duncan, Jimmy Duncan, and Claudie Duncan.

Nancy is survived by her children, Tabitha Garner, David Cothran (Rebecca), and Rebekah Babb (Christian); grandchildren, Jonathan Garner, Tyler Garner, and Jazmine Coots; great-grandchildren, Sadie, Serenity, Selena, Isaiah, Malachi, and Grayson; siblings; Ruby Duncan Redden (Jack), Randy Duncan (Patricia), Janie Duncan, and Benny Duncan; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services for Nancy will be held Saturday, November 22, 2025, at 1:00 pm in the chapel of the Alvis Miller & Son Funeral Home with Rev. Bob Lawson and Rev. Steve Kelley officiating. Interment will follow in the Wimberly Hill Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends on Friday evening, November 21, 2025, at Alvis Miller & Son Funeral Home from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm.

Pallbearers will include Steven Redden, Danny Busby, Michael Lary, Dayton Helbert, Skylar Murphy, and Cedric Duncan. John Redding will serve as a honorary pallbearer.
