Patsy Ann Harper

Mrs. Patsy Ann Harper, age 88, of Carrollton, GA, passed away Sunday afternoon, July 27, 2025.

Mrs. Harper was born on May 27, 1937, in North Carolina, a daughter of the late Doris Matthews Parrott. She had lived the greater part of her life in Villa Rica, GA, and was a member of Roopville Road Baptist Church where she taught art to the seniors. Mrs. Harper spent time in the real estate business, teaching art and was an accomplished artist. She loved her dog, Daisey and cherished the time she got to spend with her grandchildren, who knew her as “Grandy”.

In addition to her mother, Patsy was preceded in death by her daughter, Vickie Burnette.

Mrs. Harper is survived by her husband, Douglas “Doug” Harper; children, Hutch (Andrea) Monroe, and David (Tiffany) Monroe; son-in-law, Chip Burnette; grandchildren, Colt Burnwall (Sam Burnwall), Lyric (John) Sprinkle, Kelsi Monroe, Meagan Monroe Humphress (Jamin), Grant Carson Monroe, Dawson Monroe, and Sarah Monroe; great-grandchildren, Fox Sprinkle, Lex Sprinkle, and Millie Humphress.

Memorial services for Mrs. Harper will be held Friday, August 1, 2025 at 11:00 am at Roopville Road Baptist Church. 

The family will receive friends on Friday from 10:00 am until the service hour at the church.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that memorial donations may be made to Roopville Road Baptist Church, 835 US-27, Roopville, GA 30170 in memory of Mrs. Harper.
