Mr. Paul Deems, Sr., age 63, of Aragon, GA, passed away Friday evening, February 13, 2026.

Paul was born in Rockmart, Georgia, on September 3, 1962, the son of the late Ralph Lewis Deems and Clara Mae Ely Deems. He spent most of his life in the Collard Valley community, where he was known for his work as a self-employed professional painter. Paul was a member of Full Gospel Church of New Beginnings, and his faith and love for the Lord were central to his life.

In addition to his parents, Paul was preceded in death by three sisters, Betty Brinkley, Patricia Burnley, and Judy Sisson, and three brothers, Sonny Deems, Rayford Deems, and Justin Deems.

Paul is survived by his loving wife of almost 45 years, Wanda Brinkley Deems; three children, Paul deems, Jr., Joshua Deems, and Matthew Deems; sisters, Angie Chapman, Hope Deems, and Ashley Williams; brothers, Jerry Deems, Billy Deems, Tony Deems, Travis Deems, and Jason Deems. Numerous grandchildren, one great-granddaughter and several nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral arrangements for Paul are incomplete and will be announced later by Alvis Miller & Son Funeral Home & Crematory.
