Mrs. Pearl York Johnson, age 84, of Aragon, GA, passed away on Monday, October 18, 2021.

Mrs. Johnson was born on May 19, 1937 in Aragon, GA, to her late parents: James Melvin York and Willie Mae Easlen York. Pearl lived all her life in Aragon and was Baptist by faith.
Mrs. Johnson loved to read in her free time. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great grandmother, sister, aunt and friend who will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Billy Cecil Johnson, her son, Billy Randall Johnson, her sisters: Mary Evans, Syble Petty, Annie Streetman, Dennie Maulding and Hazel Brown, and her brothers: James Melvin York, Jr. and Robert York.

Mrs. Johnson is survived by her four loving children: Ricky Johnson of Aragon, GA, Lyvonne Richardson (Lee) of Cedartown, GA, Earline Weltch (Bill) of White, GA, and Kaye Clark (Rick) of Rockmart, GA, 13 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great grandchild and a number of special nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services for Mrs. Pearl York Johnson will be held on Friday, October 22, 2021 at 2:00 PM in The Alvis Miller & Son Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Eddy Hughes officiating. Interment will follow at Aragon Cemetery.

Serving as pallbearers will be the following gentlemen: Dylan Johnson, Joey Dover, Justin Payne, Steven Ellette, Jesse Perkins and Doyle Winkles.

The family will receive friends on Friday, October 22, 2021 from 12:00 PM until the service hour at 2:00 PM.

Alvis Miller & Son Funeral Home & Crematory is in charge of the arrangements for Mrs. Pearl York Johnson.
