Phil Moore

Mr. Phil Moore, age 72, of Taylorsville, GA passed away Friday, November 3, 2023.

Phil was born in Rome, GA on October 30, 1951, a son of the late Clyde Moore and Ruby Williams Moore. He had lived the greater part of his life in Taylorsville and was a graduate of Rockmart High School. Phil enjoyed going to Atlanta Braves baseball games and spending time with his family. He was a longtime employee of Woods Fabrication.

Phil is survived by his daughter, Heather Woods and her husband, Hank of Taylorsville; son Shea Moore and his wife, Mindy of Rockmart; former wife and mother of his children and friend, Mary Autry of Rockmart; five grandchildren, Taylor Pope, Jonathan Moore, Maci Moore, Adam Moore, and Kamdyn Woods; sister, Charlene Cantrell of Taylorsville; and several nieces and nephews.

Celebration of life services for Mr. Moore will be held Monday, November 6, 2023 at 2:00 pm at the chapel at In The Woods, 2173 Cartersville Highway, Rockmart, GA 30153 with Nevin Harne and Gilbert Gentry officiating.
