Mr. Phillip Lamar Taff, Jr., age 55, of Rockmart, GA, passed away Friday, June 19, 2026, at his residence.

Mr. Taff was born in Rome, GA, on December 5, 1970, son of Phillip Lamar Taff, Sr. and Donna Morgan Taff. He had lived the greater part of his life in the Aragon and Polk County area and was of the Baptist faith. Mr. Taff was a locomotive operator with Railcon and enjoyed working on his old truck. He loved his family and cherished his time with his daughters.

Mr. Taff is survived by his wife, Sue Taff, whom he married on May 12, 2000; two daughters, Jessica Streetman (Bryan), and Jeanine Walther (Tony); mother and father, Donna and Phillip Lamar Taff, Sr.; brother, Shane Taff (Jodi); sister, Shelley (David) Smith. Several nieces and nephews also survive.

In keeping with his wishes, Mr. Taff will be cremated, and a Celebration of Life Gathering will be held on Saturday, June 27, 2026, at Alvis Miller & Son Funeral Home from 2:00 until 5:00 p.m.
