Randy Earl Fincher

Mr. Randy Earl Fincher, age 66, of Cedartown, GA, passed away Monday morning, September 1st, 2025.

Mr. Fincher was born on August 29, 1959, in Rockmart, Georgia to the late William E. “Red” Fincher and Frances Adaline Bollen Fincher.

Randy dedicated his career to the Polk County Road Department, where he worked with pride and commitment. A lifelong resident of Polk County, he embraced the outdoor life the area had to offer. He was an avid outdoorsman who found joy in hunting, fishing, and spending time in nature. Randy was also a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Fincher is preceded in death by his brother, Eddie Fincher; and sisters, Denise Lemon and Sybil Ploof.

Mr. Fincher is survived by his sister, Velvet (Sam) Smith; brothers, Edward (Judy) Fincher and Jimmy Fincher; half-sister. Edna Morgan; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

The family will have private graveside services for Mr. Fincher.

Pallbearers will include Douglas Rice, Gary Stewart, Randy Arp, Buddy Fincher, Matthew Smith, and Christopher Lemon.
