Rhonda Jill Grace, age 61, of Temple, GA, formerly of Aragon, GA, passed away Monday afternoon, August 17, 2026, at her residence.

Jill was born in Rome, GA, on June 19, 1965, daughter of the late Hugh Brooks and Patricia “Patty” Martin Brooks. She had lived the greater part of her life in Aragon, GA. Jill was a devoted housewife and homemaker who found joy in the simple things in life, especially watching Little House on the Prairie.

Jill was an avid animal lover and cherished her dogs dearly. She was also rarely without a Coca-Cola in hand, a simple pleasure she always enjoyed. Above all, Jill treasured the time she spent with her family. Her loving and caring nature, her affection for her animals, and the warmth she shared with those around her will be lovingly remembered by all who knew and loved her.

In addition to her parents, Jill was preceded in death by two sisters, Suzette Hembree and Susan Brooks, two brothers, Tony Brooks and Michael “Cotton” Brooks, niece, Autumn Hembree, grandmother, Mama Lizzy, and step-father, Johnny Yarbrough.

Jill is survived by her husband of 43 years, Roy Lee Grace; son, Adam Grace; granddaughters, Liliana Elizabeth Grace and Ava Rosalee Grace; nieces, Jennifer (Paul) Sherman, Mandy (Chris) Chastain, Michelle Brooks along with several other nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews; brother-in-law, Edward Hembree; and sister-in-law, Sheila Brooks.

Funeral services will for Mrs. Grace will be held Wednesday, August 26, 2026 at 4:00 pm in the chapel of Alvis Miller & Son Funeral Home with Rev. Michael Jack Goss officiating. Interment will follow in Aragon Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Wednesday afternoon from 2:00 pm until the funeral hour at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will include Paul Sherman, Michael Sherman, Jesse Haddock, Greg Sorrells, Terry Man, and Adam Jackson.
