Richard David Holloway

Mr. Richard David Holloway, age 72, of Aragon, GA, passed away Monday afternoon, September 22, 2025, at his residence.

Mr. Holloway was born on October 4, 1952, in Newnan, Georgia, to the late Ray Holloway and Frances Rainwater Holloway. He spent the majority of his life in Paulding County before relocating to Aragon in 2023. Mr. Holloway was employed for many years with the Hyundai Corporation. A devoted member of Bethany Christian Church, he was actively involved in the Children’s Church ministry. He was a loving husband and father, known for his strong work ethic and dedication to his family. In his leisure time, he enjoyed fishing, camping, boating, and traveling.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Holloway was preceded in death by a sister, Vicki Holloway.

Mr. Holloway is survived by his wife, Cynthia “Cindy” Tallent Holloway, whom he married December 29, 1979; son, David Holloway; brother, Greg (Tammy) Holloway; sister, Meg Holloway. Several nieces and nephews also survive.

In keeping with his wishes, Mr. Holloway will be cremated, and a Celebration of Life will be planned at a future date.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to the American Cancer Society or a tree be planted in his memory.
