Robbie Bishop Fennell

Mrs. Robbie Bishop Fennell, age 65, of Rockmart, GA, passed away on Wednesday, June 9, 2021 at Floyd Medical Center. She was born on February 18, 1956 in Douglasville, GA, to her late parents: Denver and Willie Bishop. Mrs. Fennell spent most of her life in the Rockmart area and was a 1974 graduate of Haralson County High School. Robbie was the co-owner and worked as the office manager for Reggie Fennell Garage. In her free time, she enjoyed working in the yard, cooking and being a “Meme” to everyone. Mrs. Fennell was a loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt and friend who will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Reginald “Reggie” Milton Fennell.

Mrs. Fennell is survived by her loving daughters: Lindy Fairel and Kathy Smith, grandchildren: Will (Haley) Smith, Brittany (Tyler) Dempsey, Drew (Dawson) Cornett, Haley Fairel, Randy Fennell, Ben Fennell and Rhett Fennell, great-grandchildren: Sophia Smith and Skylar Smith, sisters: Sandra (Ray) Tant, Reba (Dave) Demers, and Rhonda (Terry) Heuer, and brother, Danny (Sherry) Bishop.

Funeral Services for Mrs. Fennell will be held on Sunday, June 13, 2021 at 3:00 PM from the chapel of Alvis Miller & Son Funeral Home with Rev. Kenny Teal officiating. Interment will follow the service at Springdale Baptist Church Cemetery with the following gentlemen serving as pallbearers: Denver Lett, Justin Lett, Josh Heuer, Ben Heuer, Daniel Bishop and Heath Dunn. Serving as honor pallbearers will be the following gentlemen: Charles Mccown, Kenneth Williams and Mark Forsyth.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday, June 12, 2021 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
