Robert Leon Hayes

Mr. Robert Leon Hayes, age 65, of Rockmart, GA, passed away Monday evening, January 27, 2025.

Robert was born on December 3, 1959, in Rockmart, a son of the late Julius Hayes, Sr. and Annie Mae Jacobs Hayes. He had lived all his life in Rockmart and was a roofer by trade. Robert enjoyed watching WWE Wrestling and cherished the time he spent with his family.

In addition to his parents, Robert was preceded in death by a brother, Columbus Hayes, and five sisters, Rosa Lee Freeman, Frances Hayes, Bobbie Jo Hayes, Frankie Hayes, and Lillian Hayes.

Robert is survived by two daughters, Wyomie Hayes and Harley Hayes; brothers, Julius Hayes, Jr., Thomas Hayes, and Curtis Hayes; sister, Judy Baker.

A Memorial Service for Robert will be held on Monday, February 3, 2025, at 12:00 noon in the chapel of Alvis Miller & Son Funeral Home.

Robert’s family will receive friends at Alvis Miller & Son Funeral Home Monday from 11:00 a.m. until the service hour.
