Robert Todd Baker

Mr. Robert Todd Baker, age 47, of Cedartown, GA passed away Monday, December 16, 2013.

He was born in Rockmart, GA on March 8, 1966, a son of the late Joe I. Baker and Geneva Leatherwood Baker. Mr. Baker was a Veteran of the United States Army and was a member of the Antioch Baptist Church. He loved working on his truck and spending time with his daughters. Mr. Baker was a former police officer and had worked with the Rockmart Police Department, Polk County Police Department and the Polk County Sheriff?s Office and was currently employed with Roll Solutions as a truck driver. He was preceded in death by his father, Joe I. Baker on October 4, 2003.

Survivors include his three daughters: Amber Baker, Aragon, Ansley Baker, Cedartown and Ariel Baker, Cedartown; mother, Geneva Corn, Cedartown; two brothers: Michael Baker, Aragon and Scott Baker, Silver Creek; granddaughter, Gracie Whitman, Aragon; and girlfriend, Dawn Williams, Aragon.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, December 19, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of the Alvis Miller & Son Funeral Home with Dr. Jeff Dabbs officiating. A eulogy will be given by Polk County Police Chief Kenny Dodd.

The family will receive friends Thursday afternoon from 12:00 noon until the funeral hour at the funeral home.
