Robert Lee "Rod" Warren, Jr.

Mr. Robert Lee “Rod” Warren, Jr., age 60, of Taylorsville, GA, passed away Wednesday, October 1, 2025.

Rod was born on October 8, 1964, in Marietta, Georgia, the son of Robert Lee Warren, Sr., and Lynn Marie Law Baker. He earned a degree from Chattahoochee Technical College and dedicated his career to serving the community as a firefighter with the Marietta Fire Department, recently retiring after years of honorable service. Rod also ran a lawn care business on the side and had a deep love for the outdoors. He found great joy in tending to his farm and treasured every moment spent with his grandchildren.

Rod is survived by his wife, Helen Martin Warren, whom he married April 4, 1992; two children, Brett Warren and Madison (Jacob) Merritt; two grandchildren, Maggie Jo Merritt and Easton Merritt; mother, Lynn Marie Baker; father, Robert Lee (Claudette) Warren, Sr.; sister, Kelly Warren; brother, Jason (Shawn) Warren; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Jo and Ken Martin. Several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.

In keeping with his wishes, Rod will be cremated, and a private Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
