Robert "Bug" Womack

Mr. Robert “Bug” Womack, age 91, of Rockmart, GA passed away on Tuesday, October 21, 2025.

Mr. Womack was born on September 17, 1934 to the late Ambrose Floyd Womack and the late Maude Pauline Haney Womack. Born in Taylorsville, he spent the greater part of his life in Rockmart, GA.

Bug was a simple, family man and retired as a plumber with over 40 years of service with Haney Supply.

In addition to his parents, Bug was preceded in death by his brothers, Charles Womack and Walter Womack; and his sister, Sallie Ruth “Granny” Gentry.

He is survived by his sister, Nancy Yarbrough and her husband Franklin; and several nieces and nephews.

Graveside funeral services for Mr. Womack will be held Saturday, October 25, 2025 at 12:30 pm in the Taylorsville Cemetery with Rev. Billy Chambers officiating.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 11:00 am until 12:00 noon.
