Royce Harold Coker

Mr. Royce Harold Coker, age 96, of Rockmart, GA, passed away Friday evening, November 21, 2026.

Mr. Coker was born in Rockmart on February 19, 1929, son of the late Henry Cecil Coker and Beulah Frances Williams Coker. He retired from the Georgia Department of Transportation as a truck driver in 1989 after many years of service. Mr. Coker enjoyed watching western movies.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Coker was preceded in death by two brothers, Kelsie Cecil “K.C.” Coker and Raymond Eugene Coker, and three sisters, Betty Jean Prather, Vera Lorene Sanders, and Emma Louise Locklear.

Mr. Coker is survived by several nieces and nephews.

Graveside and interment services for Mr. Coker will be held on Monday morning, November 24, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. in the New Prospect Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Jeff Hulsey officiating.
