Ryan Shea Smith

Ryan Shea Smith, age 51, of Cartersville, GA, passed away Thursday, June 5, 2025, in Panama City, FL.

Ryan was born in Rome, GA, on October 16, 1973, son of Jim and Teresa Rayburn Smith. He had lived the greater part of his life in Rockmart and was a member of Victory Baptist Church. Ryan was a registered nurse, working for Harbin Clinic. He loved fishing, was an avid Florida State University fan, and enjoyed Jimmy Buffett.

Ryan is survived by his wife, Hilary Singleton Smith; daughter, Canaan Smith; son, Micah Smith; parents, Jim and Teresa Smith; brother, Tyson (Kimberly) Smith; step-son, Diego Quenel.

Funeral services for Ryan will be held on Wednesday morning, June 11, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at Victory Baptist Church with Rev. Barry Snapp officiating. Tyson Smith will deliver the eulogy. Interment will follow in Aragon Cemetery with Rev. Jason Purser in charge of graveside rites. Ryan will lie in-state at the church on Wednesday morning from 10:00 a.m. until the service hour.

Pallbearers will include William Hudson, Bryan Owens, Adam Rayburn, Jason Cline, Rodney Hutcheson, Tytus McBryde, and Chan Hopper.

Ryan’s family will receive friends at Alvis Miller & Son Funeral Home Tuesday evening, June 10, 2025, from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m.
