Mr. Sam George, age 36, of Rockmart, GA passed away Wednesday, March 25, 2026.

Sam was born on September 24, 1989, in Villa Rica, GA, the son of Jamie Brown George and the late Anthony George. He spent the greater part of his life in Rockmart and Haralson County, where he developed a deep love for the outdoors.

Sam enjoyed working on cars, traveling, and taking peaceful walks along the creek with his wife, Heather, and his dog, Bella. He was known for his kind heart and willingness to help others, always ready to lend a hand to anyone in need.

Sam is survived by his wife, Heather Owen George, to whom he married on May 11, 2018; children, Lindey Woodruff, Skylar George, and Ronnie George; brother, Andy George; sister, Amy George; and aunt, Anita Jordan (Ronnie). Several other aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins also survive.

Memorial services for Sam will be held Saturday, April 4, 2026, at 1:00 pm at Seaborn Jones Park in downtown Rockmart.
