Sandi Atkins

Mrs. Sandi Atkins, age 67, of Rockmart, GA, passed away Thursday morning, January 1, 2026, at her residence.

Sandi was born on July 7, 1958, in Canton, Georgia, to the late Arthur Mell White and Essie Payne White. She was of the Baptist faith who lived her life with kindness and grace. Before retiring, Sandi dedicated many years to her work with the Lane Company as a property manager, where she was known for her reliability and care for others.

Sandi found joy in the simple pleasures of life, getting lost in a good book, expressing herself through painting, and sharing love through her baking. She treasured the time spent with her special group of friends, who meant the world to her. Above all, nothing brought Sandi more happiness than being a Mimi, a role she embraced with endless love and pride.

In addition to her parents, Sandi was preceded in death by her husband, Tommy Atkins.

Sandi is survived by her children, Shane (Hope) Atkins, and Sabrina Renee Atkins; sister, Patti (David) Ash; brother, Randy (Laura) White. Five grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews also survive.

Memorial services for Sandi will be held on Sunday afternoon, January 4, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Alvis Miller & Son Funeral Home with Rev. Todd Jones officiating.

Sandi’s family will receive friends at Alvis Miller & Son Funeral Home on Sunday from 1:00 p.m. until the service hour.
