Sandra Bishop

Sandra Bishop, age 73, of Rockmart GA, passed away Tuesday afternoon, August 12, 2025.

Sandra was born on March 29, 1952, in Rockmart, a daughter of the late Charles Moore and Thelma Goss Moore. She spent her childhood in Rockmart before moving away for a time and returning home in 1999.

Sandra was a talented seamstress and a skilled cook. She had a deep love for fishing, animals, children, and most of all, her family. Her warmth, creativity, and sense of humor will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

In addition to her parents, Sandra was preceded in death by two brothers, Tony and Jody Rains, and two sisters, Teresa Mangus, and Clora Sieber.

Sandra is survived by her daughter, Christina (Tim) Christy, grandson Zachary LaDall, sister Kathryn Glass, and several nieces and nephews.

In keeping with her wishes, Sandra will be cremated, and no formal services will be held at this time.
