Mrs. Sarah Elizabeth Bryant, age 71, of Taylorsville, GA, passed away Friday evening, March 13, 2026.
Mrs. Bryant was born on June 21, 1954, in Clanton, Alabama, the daughter of the late Horace Milton Bolton and Dollie Carolyn Klinner Parker. She spent her childhood in Alabama and lived most of her adult life in Georgia. For the past three years, she had been a resident of Taylorsville.
Sarah worked for Northwest Airlines and later retired from Wal-Mart, where she served in the accounting department. She was an avid reader who loved fishing, but her greatest joy came from family gatherings and spending time with her grandchildren. She was of the Baptist faith.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Bryant was preceded in death by her sister, Amelia Havens; brother, William “Bill” Bolton; brother-in-law, Barry Pitts; son-in-law, Rayford Rhodes, Jr.; and grandparents, W.H. and Vivian Klinner and Alex and Lois Bolton.
Sarah is survived by her daughter, Dollie Rhodes; three grandchildren, Levi Byrd (Dixie), Zak Jeffers, and Jennifer Smith; three great-grandchildren, Ainsleigh, Preston, and Raelynn; sister, Louise Pitts; honorary grandchildren, Tyler Sanford (Misty), Kesleigh Powell, and Buck Rhodes; honorary great-grandchildren, Marley Sanford, Charley Sanford, and Shila Rhodes.
Funeral services for Mrs. Bryant will be held Tuesday, March 17, 2026, at 2:00 pm in the chapel of Alvis Miller & Son Funeral Home with Rev. Corey Smith officiating.
The family will receive friends at Alvis Miller & Son Funeral Home on Tuesday from 12:00 noon until the service hour.
