Sarah Ann Dover Thomason

Mrs. Sarah Ann Dover Thomason, age 68, of Rockmart, GA, passed away Saturday, November 1, 2025, at her residence.

Ann, born on March 18, 1957, in St. Louis, MO, was the beloved daughter of James Van Dover, Sr., and Geraldine Tomlin Clark. She spent most of her life in Haralson County and the Yorkville community, where she was known and loved by many.

A devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, Ann dedicated her life to caring for her family. She especially cherished her grandsons and her two faithful dogs, Rocky and Dinky. Ann had a heart of gold and a gentle spirit that touched everyone who knew her. Her kindness, love, and laughter will be deeply missed but forever remembered by all who were blessed to know her.

Ann is survived by her husband of twenty-five years, Johnny Thomason, Sr.; children, Patricia Brown (Eric Cheatwood), Marvin “Corky” Corcoran, Star (Michael Reeves), Johnny Thomason, Jr.; grandchildren, Michael Brown, Matthew Wolfe, Austin Corcoran, Aidan Wolfe, Holleigh Thomason, Memphis Thomason, Kaleb Thomason, Macy Weaver, Thomas Evans; mother, Geraldine Clark; father, James Van Dover, Sr. (Nellie Dover); sisters, Carolyn Dover Davis, and Marie Massey; brother, James Van Dover, Jr.

In keeping with her wishes, Ann will be cremated, and no formal services are planned at this time.
