Mrs. Shirlene C. Baggett, age 81, of Cartersville, GA, passed away on Thursday, March 31, 2022.

Shirlene was born on June 11, 1940 in Atlanta, GA, to her parents: Jesse Carlisle and Clara Dudley Carlisle. She spent the greater part of her life in the Kennesaw and Cartersville area and was of Baptist faith. Mrs. Baggett was retired from Stasco Mechanical, where she worked in the accounts payable department for many years. In her free time, she enjoyed spending time with her cute cats, gardening, her flowers and rearranging her furniture often. Most importantly, she loved her children and family dearly. Mrs. Baggett was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and friend who will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Jimmy Baggett; 2 sisters: Elaine Morris and Barbara Cook; daughter-in-law, Tabby Johnson and son-in-law, Shane Beach.

She is survived by her 3 sons: Randy Johnson (Gerri) of Cartersville, GA, David Johnson of Cartersville, GA and Steve Johnson (Anita) of Cedartown, GA; daughter, Jennifer Beach of Panama City Beach, FL; 10 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren and sister, Doris Hayes of Cartersville, GA.

Funeral Services for Mrs. Shirlene C. Baggett will be held on Monday, April 4, 2022 at 3:00 PM in The Alvis Miller & Son Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Randy Vines officiating. Interment will follow the service at Rockmart Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday, April 3, 2022 from 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM.
