Stacey Michelle Carter

Ms. Stacey Michelle Carter, age 44, of Buchanan, GA passed away Wednesday, November 7, 2012.

Stacey was born March 29, 1968 in Polk County a daughter of Jimmy Shoemaker and Annette Dunn Shoemaker. She was a graduate of Haralson County High School and a member of the Oak Ridge Baptist Church in Aragon. She was an accomplished Gospel Singer having been a member of New Freedom, Heart Felt and Enlisted.

She is survived by two sons: Brandon Carter, Rockmart and Seth Carter and wife Kim, Cedartown; parents, Jimmy and Annette Shoemaker, Buchanan; two grandchildren, Anzlie Carter and Brayden Carter; two sisters: Tammy Brewer and Charity Carter both of Buchanan.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, November 10, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of the Alvis Miller & Son Funeral Home with Rev. Danny Dunn and Rev. Steven Swift officiating. Interment will follow in Oak Ridge Baptist Church Cemetery.

Pallbearers will include: Bobby Shoemaker, Sammy Shoemaker, Billy Joe Ramero, Todd Cash, Brad Carter and Heath Dunn.

The family will receive friends Friday evening from 6 until 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
