Sue E. Duke

Mrs. Sue E. Duke, age 77, of Aragon, GA, passed away on Monday, October 9, 2023.

Sue was born on September 13, 1946, in Rome, GA. She was the daughter of the late Mr. Charles Estes and Martha Terry Estes. Mrs. Duke lived all her life in Polk County and was a member of Fairview Baptist Church. In her free time, she enjoyed sewing, painting, scratch off tickets, puzzles and most importantly, spending time with her family and her beloved grandchildren.

in addition to her parents, Mrs. Duke was preceded in death by her son, William Scotty Duke, a brother, C.E. Estes, and sister, Wanda Estes.

Mrs. Duke is survived by her loving husband, James Duke of Aragon, GA; son, Adam (Becky) Duke of Aragon, GA; four grandchildren: Matthew (Jenalee) Duke, Leah Duke (Kevin Garmon), Andrew Duke and Madison Duke; three great-grandchildren: Gracelynn Garmon, Wyatt Garmon and Miles Duke; brother, Terry (Judy) Estes, Sr. of Rockmart, GA and several nieces and nephews.

In keeping with Mrs. Duke's wishes, her body will be cremated, and a memorial service will be held at a later date.
