Tara Lynn Morris

Tara Lynn Morris, age 52, of Ringgold, GA, formerly of Rockmart, GA, passed away Thursday, April 18, 2024.

Tara was born in Rockmart on July 9, 1971, daughter of Ann Galloway and Jerry Morris.  She lived in the Yorkville community and at a young age became a Christian and joined Fairview Baptist Church, later moving to Albertville, AL, and became a member of Mount Calvary Baptist Church.  Tara is remembered as a thoughtful, giving, and caring Christian with a great faith in prayer.

Tara made her mark in the Flexographic industry, holding several positions including Regional Sales Representative and Plant Manager. Her peers and friends remember her people skills and her charismatic personality.

Tara is survived by a son, Jonathan Carroll of Geraldine, AL; mother, Ann (Gary) Galloway of Albertville, AL; father, Jerry (Kat) Morris of Ringgold; siblings, Ashley Morris of Rockmart, Dr. Jerid Morisco of Seattle, WA, Jennifer Brandon of Albertville, and Dewayne Galloway, of Geraldine.

A Memorial Service for Tara will be held Saturday afternoon, May 4, 2024, at 4:00 p.m. in the chapel of Alvis Miller & Son Funeral Home with Dr. Charles Drummond officiating.

Tara’s family will receive friends Saturday afternoon from 2:00 p.m. until the service hour.
