Thelma Lois Teems Waddell

Mrs. Thelma Lois Teems Waddell, age 83, of Aragon, GA passed away Friday, November 20, 2015 in a Rome medical center.

She was born in Chattooga County, GA on August 12, 1932 a daughter of the late Grover Maxwell Teems and Lois Brookshire Teems. Mrs. Waddell had lived the greater part of her life in Aragon where she was a homemaker and a member of the Church of God of the Union Assembly. She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Eugene "Gene" Waddell; by a son, Curtis Waddell and a sister, Doris Bentley.

Survivors include two daughters: Shelia Smith, Carrollton and Melissa Jackson, Rockmart; two sons: Steve Waddell, Rome and Marty Waddell, Aragon; six grandchildren; seven great grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Sunday, November 22, 2015 at 4:00 p.m. in the chapel of the Alvis Miller & Son Funeral Home with Rev. Jessie Starnes officiating.

The family will receive friends Sunday from 1:00 p.m. until the service hour at the Alvis Miller & Son Funeral Home.
