Tina Lynn Dunn

Mrs. Tina Lynn Powell Dunn, age 60, of Aragon, GA, passed away Sunday morning, April 21, 2024, at her residence.

Tina was born in Rockmart, GA, on October 24, 1963, a daughter of the late David Wilson Powell and Betty Jean Summerville Powell.  She had lived all her life in Polk County and was of the Baptist faith.  Tina was a Certified Nursing Assistant with Cedar Valley Nursing Home, and was a very selfless person, looking out for and caring for others.  She was a very sociable person who never met a stranger.   Tina cherished the time she got to spend with family, especially her grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Tina was preceded in death by a sister, Teresa McDowell, and her mother-in-law and father-in-law, Vernon and Helen Dunn.

Tina is survived by her husband, Thomas “Danny” Dunn, whom she married November 4, 1983; three sons, Lee (Kimberly) Lowery, Gene Dunn, and Weasel (Heather) Dunn; sixteen grandchildren; sister, Rhonda (Jeff) Boatner; brother, Danny Wayne Powell.  Five nieces and nephews also survive.

A Celebration of Life for Tina will be held Saturday, April 27, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Alvis Miller & Son Funeral Home with Rev. Danny Dunn officiating.

Tina’s family will receive friends at Alvis Miller & Son Funeral Home Saturday from 1:00 p.m. until the service hour.
