Mr. Tony Michael Jones, age 57, of Rome, GA passed away Friday, April 4, 2014 in a Rome medical center.
Michael was born in Atlanta, GA on June 12, 1956 a son of William J. Jones and Dorothy Faye Lindsey Jones. He had been a resident of Rome, GA for several years. He was preceded in death by a brother, George in 1996, by his father in 2002 and by his mother in 2008.
Survivors include his caregivers: Joy and Darrell Creel, Rome, GA; sister, Martha E. Gurley, Ottumwa, Iowa; four brothers: William J, Jones, II, Bluffton, S.C., Robert J. Jones, Yorkville, GA, Stewart A. Jones and Gregory L. Jones both of Hiram, GA.
Graveside funeral and interment services will be held Tuesday, April 8, 2014 at 2:30 p.m. in the Yorkville Cemetery with Rev. David Warriner officiating.
The family will receive friends Tuesday from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at the Alvis Miller & Son Funeral Home.
The Alvis Miller & Son Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements for the funeral of Mr. Tony Michael Jones.
