Valerie Brooke Bergeron

Valerie Brooke Bergeron, age 30, of Cedartown, GA, passed away Monday, July 1, 2024.

Valerie was born in Rome, GA, on June 4, 1994, daughter of Deborah Bailey Hicks and Tommy Hicks. She had lived all her life in Polk County and was a graduate of Cedartown High School. Valerie had worked for a period of time with Lively’s BBQ & Breakfast. She had a love for music and gaming and enjoyed scary movies. Valerie loved her family and cherished spending time with them, especially her niece and nephew.

Valerie was preceded in death by her grandfathers, Thomas Seals Hicks, and William Hoyt Bailey.

Valerie is survived by her husband, David Bergeron, whom she married July 21, 2018; father, Tommy (Lisa) Hicks; mother, Deborah Hicks; sister, Michelle Hulsey; niece and nephew, Emberlee Wilson and Joseph Wilson; grandmother, Eunice Hicks. Numerous cousins also survive.

In keeping with her wishes, Valerie will be cremated, and no formal services are planned at this time.
