Wanda Gail Clark

Mrs. Wanda Gail Clark, age 52, of Creekside Drive Rockmart, GA passed away Monday, June 20, 2011 following a year long illness.


She was born in Polk County, GA on April 27, 1959 a daughter of Wiley James Watson, Sr. and Joyce Forrister Watson. Mrs. Clark was a homemaker and a member of the Friendly Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Michael Clark, Sr. on August 2, 2005, by her father, Wiley James Watson, Sr., by a sister, Marie Watson Coburn and by a brother, Wiley James Watson, Jr.


Survivors include two sons: James Clark, Buchanan and Michael Clark, Rockmart; step daughter, Marie Pierce, Cedartown; mother, Joyce Forrister Watson, Buchanan; sister, Frances Watson Garner, Cedartown and five grandchildren.


Funeral services will be held Thursday, June 23, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel of the Alvis Miller & Son Funeral Home with Rev. James Brewer, Rev. R.B. Hulsey and Rev. Jerry Hulsey officiating. Interment will follow in Polk Memory Gardens.


Pallbearers will include: Don Haddock, J.E. Clark, Jason Clark, Jerry Forrister, Glenn Forrister and Colt Watson.


The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 6 until 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
