William Richard Brantley

Mr. William Richard Brantley, age 76, of Rockmart, GA, passed away Wednesday, December 7, 2022.

Mr. Brantley was born in Savannah, GA, on November 6, 1946, a son of the late L.C. Brantley and the late Elsie Magalene Stewart Brantley. Richard had been a resident of Rockmart since 1970 moving here from Seattle, WA. He was a proud veteran of the United States Navy serving in Vietnam and was a former employee of Meggitt. In addition to his parents Richard was preceded in death by his wife, Janie Brantley; son, William Richard (Ricky) Brantley, II; and his daughter, Pamela Susan Jensen.

Survivors include his son, Douglas Lee Brantley, Seattle; two brothers: Harry Brantley, Aragon and L.C. Brantley, Cedartown; sister, Linda Ferguson, Rockmart; and three grandsons.

In keeping with his wishes, Richard will be cremated, and no formal services will be held at this time.
