Willie Faye Streetman

Mrs. Willie Faye Streetman, age 65, of Aragon, GA passed away Monday, July 21, 2014 in a Rome medical center following a brief illness.

She was born in Rockmart, GA on August 11, 1948 a daughter of the late Sam Childers and Sarah Carter Childers. Mrs. Streetman had lived the greater part of her life in Polk County where she was a homemaker and a member of the Glory Road Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband, Rev. Edward Streetman, Aragon; daughter, Cindy Faye Rutherford, Aragon; son, Sam Edward (Eddie) Streetman, Rockmart; sister, Judy Strickland, Cedartown; brothers: Judson Childers, Rockmart and Maynon Childers, Aragon; four grandchildren, five great grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, July 24, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. in the Chapel of the Alvis Miller & Son Funeral Home with Rev. Max Padgett and Rev. J.W. Wise officiating. Interment will follow in Rockmart Memorial Gardens.

Pallbearers will include: David Childers, Drew Childers, Brett Childers, Jason Watkins, Casey Childers, Danny Strickland, Jr., Kain Hammonds, Michael Baines and Toby Allen.

The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 7 until 9 p.m. at the Alvis Miller & Son Funeral Home.
